Innovative Collaboration for a Sustainable Tomorrow: Altro Labels and Folding Mountain Brewing

Sustainability has become an increasingly important issue in today's world, and two companies have taken a step forward in promoting environmental responsibility. Altro Labels and Folding Mountain Brewing have come together to create a collaboration that not only supports sustainability but also showcases their commitment to the environment. In this blog, we will take a closer look at collaboration and what it represents for the future of sustainable business practices.

Altro Labels is a leading provider of high-quality custom labels for a variety of products. With a focus on sustainability, the company has implemented environmentally friendly practices into its production processes. One initiative it has embarked on is the use of recycled materials, like the Stone paper, a sustainable alternative to traditional pulp-based paper, as it does not use trees, water, chlorine, acids, or petroleum in its manufacturing; therefore being made 100% from stone particles, it is a 100% biodegradable material. By promoting sustainable practices, Altro Labels is committed to making a positive impact on the environment.

Folding Mountain Brewing is a well-respected brewery that has been in business for many years. With a focus on sustainability, the brewery has taken steps to reduce its environmental impact, including the use of environmentally friendly packaging materials. By producing high-quality beer while also reducing its carbon footprint, Folding Mountain is committed to making a positive impact on the environment.

The collaboration between Altro Labels and Folding Mountain Brewing showcases the companies' shared commitment to sustainability. The companies have come together to create a limited edition beer - A Golden Belgian Tripel with sour cherries added during fermentation. Fruity aromas from the yeast mingle with the aromas of cherry and candy. Finishes with a warm subtle cherry and honey sweetness. The beer has a faint tartness from the cherries and features custom labels printed by Altro Labels. The labels are printed on Stone Paper: these sleek and modern labels have a nice matte finish which usually can only be accomplished through matte over-lamination, but to remain eco-friendly the matte finish has been achieved by applying UV-cured matte varnish. This collaboration highlights the importance of sustainable business practices and the role that companies can play in promoting environmental responsibility.

Starting February 10, the Sour Cherry Belgian Tripel will be available for purchase from the Folding Mountain Brewing Taproom. Also, watch for it in retail locations across Alberta. A portion of the proceeds from all sales will be donated to Tree Canada (https://treecanada.ca), the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments, in every province across the country. They help grow Canada’s tree canopy through different programs, research, and engagement efforts and by offering grants to communities and schools.

In conclusion, this collaboration is a prime example of how companies can work together to promote sustainability. By combining their efforts and showcasing their commitment to the environment, the companies have created a unique product that will make a difference in the world. With a focus on environmentally responsible practices, the companies have created a product that not only tastes great but also makes a difference in the world. We hope that this collaboration will inspire other companies to follow suit and find innovative ways to make a positive impact in their communities and the environment.
